When ‘Chelsea in Bloom’ returned in 2018 with the theme “Summer of Love”, I was struck by the positive effect the creative blooms seemed to have on people. Strangers interacted, inspired by the imaginative, colourful displays and the uplifting mood they brought with them. Being there at the end of the last day, it was an added treat to see the expressions of people being given parts of the floral displays by workers dismantling them (and the spectacle of one woman trying to get a six-foot tall gladioli arrangement onto the tube at Sloane Square was especially memorable).
SPECIFICATION:
Created from 350gsm card with a glossy outer. The inner is uncoated, making Little Sister cards suitable for use with all pens, including fountain pens. Provided with a white envelope with scarlet tissue paper lining. Dimensions: A6 (14.8cm x 10.5cm)
